Timothy Keller describes Paul's letter to the Galatians as "an explosion of joy and freedom which leaves us enjoying a deep significance, security and satisfaction- the life of blessing God calls His people into." Why? Because in Galatians we encounter the gospel face-to-face and get a window into its life-changing power for our lives. It has wonderful potential to help us deepen our experience of the liberating work of Jesus personally and coporately, unifying believers from a variety of cultures. The more we understand what motivated Paul to write this letter, the more fully we will grasp & experience the freedom Paul procliams for all of God's people.
