During August and September we encouraged members of our congregation to participate in putting together school kits for MCC. School kits often are requested after disasters and help bring normalcy to children whose families have been forced to flee their homes.  We encouraged you to put together school kits, drop them (or the supplies) off at our church or donate money towards supplies.

We're delighted to let you know that your generosity contributed to 187 school kits made and delivered to MCC! A huge thanks to Kathryn Klassen and her family as they collected the contributions. Thank you also to the grade 6-8 students who took time to pack the supplies into the cloth bags.  Here are some pictures:
