Our Missions Mobilizer, Sam Dick from Multiply, recently sent our church an update on his projects:
This morning I got up at 6am, poured myself a fresh cup of coffee (Lighthouse Coffee of course), tucked a warm blanket around my feet and proceeded to read these verses from my Lectio 365 devotional guide.
'How will this be,' Mary asked the angel, 'since I am a virgin?' The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail.' "I am the Lord’s servant,’"Mary answered. "May your word to me be fulfilled.' Luke 1:34-38
Mary is wonderfully practical. She cannot have a baby. “How will this be?” So the angel gave Mary a testimony of God’s grace to her cousin Elizabeth, who also faced an impossible conception.
The power of that testimony settled Mary’s spirit allowing her to receive the assignment given to her. I’ll bet Mary thought to herself: “If it happened before it can happen again. If it happened to someone else why could it not happen to me?” “May your word to me be fulfilled.”
No word from God will ever fail. Testimony power passed along.

We have seen God provide in the past, I am certain he can do it again. THANK YOU to everyone who continues to partner with us.
