Introduction
This is not a vote, but only a survey that attempts to address eldership and staffing/pastoral roles. Its purpose is to serve as an aid in clarifying and developing a question for congregational vote and future policy at ERBF.
We understand the Bible to be timeless. With that in mind, please base your answers and comments below on discernment based on careful study of the scriptures, not on a cultural context. Current ERBF practice is that women who are members may serve in any ministry capacity other than Lead Pastor, or Elder.
